Terms of service

Shop Audit is a product of Mike Moore, sole proprietor (“we”). These terms govern shop-audit.com. Last updated 28 August 2026.

The service

We review public web pages of a URL you submit and deliver written findings. Snapshot is free. Spotlight, Full Journey, and Watch are paid. Scope is public HTML a typical browser can fetch. We do not access Shopify admin, payment processors, ads accounts, or private analytics unless you later sign a separate written engagement (we do not offer that as a standard SKU).

No guarantees

Reports are opinions based on a crawl at a point in time. We do not guarantee revenue, conversion, SEO rank, accessibility compliance, legal compliance, or that every issue is found. Themes, apps, and A/B tests change what shoppers see.

Your responsibilities

You warrant you are authorized to request a review of the URL. You will not submit systems you do not control in order to harass others. You will not use the service to attack, scrape at abusive volume, or probe non-public networks. We refuse and may block URLs that resolve to private, link-local, or cloud-metadata ranges.

Accounts and links

Report links use an unguessable token. Anyone with the link can read the report. Keep the email we send private.

Payment

Paid SKUs are charged in USD via Stripe when connected. Watch is a monthly subscription until you cancel. Taxes may apply. Chargebacks after delivery of a report for the paid URL may be contested.

Intellectual property

You keep rights in your store. We keep rights in our software, copy, and report format. We grant you a license to use your delivered report for your business. Do not resell our reports as your agency product without a written license.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim is the amount you paid us for the order giving rise to the claim in the prior 90 days (or $0 for a free snapshot). We are not liable for lost profits, indirect, or consequential damages.
